The "Fishers of Men" is a study and outreach group within
the Springtown church family that follow these five basic qualities:
1. To strengthen each other through prayer, fellowship, and study. 2. To support our church family, friends, and community by visiting the inflicted, encouraging the discouraged, and praying with them. 3. Accept Christ’s challenge to grow the Church through our witnessing and through door-to-door solicitation. 4. Live our lives the same way whether at home or church according to God’s word and by following His commandments because of our love for Him. 5. Always seeking to find new members that share in the belief to put Christ first, others second, and themselves third.
Matthew:4 18-20
18 As Jesus walked by the Sea of Galilee, he saw two
brothers, Simon who is called Peter and Andrew his brother, casting a
net into the sea; for they were fishermen. 19
And he said to them, "Follow me, and I will make you Fishers of Men."
20 Immediately they left their
nets and followed him.
