Steps to Christ” Study Begins Wednesday, February 8
A new Midweek series based on Ellen White’s classic devotional book “Steps to Christ” will begin Wednesday, February 8, at 7 p.m. The format is simple – we all read a chapter and then discuss and reflect on it at the Midweek service. So for Wednesday, February 8, make sure you’ve read Chapter 1 – God’s Love for Man. Why “Steps to Christ”? This powerful little book holds so much promise for Springtown. Only as we grow closer to Christ can we personally and corporately as a church discover God’s will for our lives. And so for 13 weeks our challenge is to dust off this book (or buy a new one at Sleepy Hollow) and discover the blessings of being close to Christ. Please join in the study.

Pastoral Search Update
Members of the Steering Committee and Pastoral Team met with AR/LA Conference President Steve Orian on Friday, January 20. A candid, good-spirited discussion took place about Springtown’s need/desires for a pastor. The next Conference Executive Committee meeting is in early March. That committee, in cooperation with conference officials, makes pastoral placement decisions. Please keep the search in your prayers, and until our next pastor arrives, continue to keep your little light shining around this community.
