Pastor Ryan Watson Shares a Note

Thoughts "Penned" by Our New Pastor

Hello Springtown! I just wanted to take a few moments to let you know that you are all on our minds as my family and I are packing and preparing to move. On the one hand, it seems like such a short time ago that Emily and I came to visit for the first time. We were so blessed to have had such a great Sabbath of worship and fellowship with you. On the other hand, it also seems like a long time has passed since then, and we are eager to move to Arkansas and to experience more of life and ministry with the Springtown church. Even though we had just a brief time together, we can honestly say we miss you already.

As you may have heard, we found a house in Siloam Springs, which was an answer to prayer, and really a testimony of God’s mercy and faithfulness (we will have to share that experience with you when we arrive). Since then, I have been a little nervous that we might hit a snag. Fortunately, the process leading up to closing seems to be progressing smoothly enough. Lord willing that everything continues accordingly, we will be putting down our first roots in Arkansas on September 28th (and we pray that the moving truck is well on its way by then).

I understand that many of you are eager for the new pastor and family to arrive. We share your excitement. Please pray that our transition continues to go smoothly, that our packing is done quickly, and that God continues to guide Springtown and its leaders as we prepare for our next phase of ministry together under the direction and leading of His Holy Spirit. We look forward to seeing you again very soon.

“…being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.” Philippians 1:6

Blessings to all,
Pastor Ryan Watson
